Terms of service
The terms that govern use of the Wovenli platform by hire businesses.
Last updated: 10 July 2026
The service
Wovenli provides hosted websites and booking software for hire businesses ("operators"): a booking engine, an optional hosted site, payment integration and related tools. These terms govern your use of the platform. By creating an account you agree to them.
Accounts and subscriptions
You must give accurate account details and keep them up to date. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe on the plan you choose, and continue until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. We may change plan pricing with reasonable notice before your next billing period.
Your responsibilities as an operator
You are the merchant of record for the bookings you take through Wovenli. That means you are responsible for:
- the accuracy of your listings, prices and availability;
- fulfilling the bookings your customers make and honouring your own policies;
- your own legal and tax compliance, including consumer law, safety obligations, insurance and the taxes due on your sales;
- handling your customers' personal data lawfully. You are the data controller for your customers' booking data.
Acceptable use
You must not use Wovenli for anything unlawful, deceptive or harmful, including listing goods or services you are not entitled to offer, sending spam, infringing others' rights, or attempting to interfere with the platform or other operators' data.
Suspension
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, fails to pay, or creates a risk to the platform or to other users. Where practical we will warn you and give you a chance to put things right first.
Liability
Wovenli provides the platform with reasonable skill and care, but we are not a party to the contracts between you and your customers. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit or loss of business, and our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is significant we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
